First Football Game

Alex caught a pass last night on this play. It was a great catch.
They put the starters up on the board before the game.

It was hard to imagine that both of my boys were going to run out of that tunnel together. My mom asked before the game, "Where is Austin?" I told her he was going to be playing tonight too. She said, "I am not use to that." The game did not turn out the way we wanted, but I was thrilled to see my boys on the same team.

Southside starts their season Friday against Catholic. I am ready for it to

get started. I thought I would give a few things I like about football.

The excitement of the first game

Bennett's open water swim

Bennett was number 120 in the open water swim in NWA

that he did today. He did a great job.

Bennett did a 2K open water swim at Hickory Creek in Springdale today. He came in third in the 2K group. Not sure of his time yet. We got up really early this morning to go up to do this. I was the picture taker. He then got to enjoy spending some time doing my exercise of shopping. He fortunately did not get any pictures of me. It was a really good day.

Austin got to play a few plays during the Southside scrimmage. He is number 9, the quarterback. Alex was still just getting to do some running a getting himself in shape. He started practice for real on Thrusday.

Alex and Austin are ready for the first day of school. It is Alex's last first day at Southside.

It is hard for me to realize this is his last year. I just sent him to kindergarten the other day it

seems. Austin is going to enjoy high school I am sure. I hope they both have a great year.

Football Season

One Year of both boys playing at Southside.

Alex's senior year. Hope it is a good one.

We think he will get to start playing again by the first regular season game.

Well football season has officially started. The blue white game for Southside was tonight. We did get a few pictures even though the boys did not want us to. I know this year is going to go by so fast. Alex is a senior and Austin a sophomore.

Cruise pictures

Three of my favorite guys.  Alex had broken his ankle 2 weeks before the vacation so he had to mess with the boot all week. At least he was able to take it off and do some of the things with us.
We went swimming with the sting rays.  It was amazing!!!
I so enjoy spending time with my guys.  Alex will be a senior this year.  Then it is off to college.

We had a great family vacation.  We went on a cruise with the Harris family.  We visited St. Pete's beach for a couple of days before we went on the cruise.  We met up with the Harris family to cruise to the Cayman Islands and Cozumel Mexico.  It was a 5 day cruise and a lot of fun.
