Southside pulls out another win.

Two brothers Alex 89 and Austin 9  watching the game and hoping the defense can hold
for us to get a win.  Never fear we found a way.

A little coaching to get ready for that last drive down the field.

My three guys after the game.  What a comeback.
Southside beat North Little Rock 27-24 with a 2 minute no huddle 93 yard drive.
I was so proud of the boys for never giving up.  This is how the playoffs have been for
Southside.  We have made a comeback in all three games.
Southside + Playoffs = Tradition

Thanksgiving

What a beautiful Thanksgiving Day:))
We had a great meal and a lot of fun visiting with
family and friends.  The meal was so good!!!

These are the two newest additions to our family.
Aiden Gibson (brown shirt) was born May 15th.  Lucas Gibson (blue shirt) was
born an April 15th.  This was the first time they were together.
They are thinking how great next year will be when
we can be running around together.  They both are so sweet.

This is the only sweet great niece I have right now,
but we will have another little girl for
Avery to play with in April.
I know Avery will be glad to add another girl to the mix.
She is such a sweet little girl and lots of fun.

Jackson is the oldest of all the great nephews and nieces.
He was so busy today it was hard to
get him in a picture.

We are thankful for each one of these children and for all of our family.

Southside wins Beats Bentonville

Alex and Matt Carman were two of the captains for the Southside Bentonville game.

The captains for both teams meeting at center field before the game.  I am so
proud of the Southside football team for the great game last night.

This was Alex after the first touchdown that Southside made.  A very
excited number 89.  You did a great job son.

This is Carl, Drew, and Alex with a guy that helped them
last year during the football season.  They were celebrating the
victory.  They played hard and came back from a 21-7 deficit to win
the game.  Bentonville has a very good team but we beat them twice this year.

Austin did not get to play in this game, but he enjoyed the victory.

After the game these boys were so excited to know they were going
to play against Bentonville the next week.
This is another picture of Alex running after the catch.

Still playing football

SOUTHSIDE WINS!!!!!

Alex caught a pass for a touchdown in the first quarter, but it was
called back for illegal movement.

Southside beat Bryant 35-24 on Friday night to advance to the next round of
playoffs. Look out Bentonville here we come.

Heading to the playoffs

Well tonight the Rebels play Bryant in the state playoffs. I really hope they win. The game is in Bryant so it will be a long trip. I may try to sneak to the high school and get some video of them leaving for the game. The boys will die if they see me, but they have almost died of me taking pictures before. Here are a couple of pictures from the game last week.

Austin #9 Alex #89 I love these boys

This picture is at the pep rally before the Northside- Southside football game
last week. Southside won. I hope someday they will be glad to have pictures.

Senior Night

He was giving me a rose and a kiss. What a special kid!!
Bennett, Alex and I on Senior night

Southside is struggling and so was I Friday night. It just seems like yesterday he was starting elementary school and now he is getting ready to graduate from high school. Friday night was senior night. I did very good till I watched him walk off the field after the game. I know they still have games to play, and hopefully it is several, but we may not get to play another one at Southside. Alex is such a great kid and I know he is having a great senior year. We love you Alex
